Bill Harrison – Painting Arizona – Three Legendary Artists

Menu – Potato Soup with Ham & Cheese Sliders, Dessert & Beverage by Jeff & Vicky

Program – Painting Arizona – Three Legendary Artist – Arizona is an enchanting land of blue skies, dazzling sunsets, mountain lakes, desert cactus and an endless variety of colorful sights. It’s the perfect place to challenge the artist’s brush, the photographer’s lens and the deft fingers of a sculptor. This presentation tells the story of tree extraordinary individuals who were passionate about creating art. R.C. Gorman was born in Chinle, Arizona in the shadow of Canyon de Chelly. The New York Times called him “The Picasso of American Indian Artists.” Robert McCall was selected by NASA to visually document the American space race. His epic murals thrill visitors at Epcot Center in Florida, The Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. and The Johnson Space Center in Houston. Ted DeGrazia of Tucson was a master of storytelling. His work is full of delicate and very human poetry which everybody can understand. DeGrazia’s popularity can be attributed to enormous talent, hard work, a quirky lifestyle and Arizona Highways Magazine. Purchase dinner & program tickets by Jan 9. Program tickets by Jan 14 at 5PM.
